I had a really hard time finding looks I wanted to highlight on this red carpet.  Everybody seemed to be trying way to hard.  I didn't love anything, but maybe there's more to come?  I haven't seen SJP yet so maybe there is yet hope!  Alas, below are some elegant looks that I liked!

I normally don't post bad outfits, but what were they thinking?  To quote Annette  Bening in "The Women" - there's a difference between an outfit and a "get up"!  I'm pretty sure when one gets dressed for the red carpet, they don't want one's first reaction to be laughter, but this I what I did when I saw these

Fitness is Fashionable!

My first thought when I started this post today was, "...and in other non-fashion related news..."!  Then I thought that it will always be fashionable to be fit and healthy!

So!  That being said - I have decided to become a certified yoga instructor at the coolest yoga studio in town (of course!) and have entered a contest to win my tuition for free!!!

Summer Wish Lyst - Maxi Dress Obessed

Well, Dallas never got a winter season this year!  It was spring from October until March and now it looks like we're headed for a cruel, cruel summer!  Days and days and days of 100 degree temps and greater.

Lucky for me, the maxi dress is still hot or I'd be very off trend.  Come to think of it, when they go out of style, I'll still be wearing them.  I have been obsessed with great maxi dresses forever and the love affair does not seem to be fading.  Here are some I found while cyber-shopping today - my wish lyst!
